I was a fellow of the Optic and Imaging Center, University of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa, 2009-2020. I became the Vice Dean of the Faculty in the year 2022 till 2024. I became an elected member of the University Senate in the year 2021 through 2025, and subsequently elected to the Appointments and Promotions Committee from year 2021 till 2023. I won the NRF-KIC Travel Grant, South Africa in 2019; the ALBA-FKNE-YIBRO Diversity Grant, 2020; and the Convenzis Conference Grant, United Kingdom       in 2024. I have over 45 scientific journal articles published in reputable journals, and I have been a reviewer for many journals including Springer Nature and other Scopus listed journals, and also many grant awarding bodies, such as the National Research Foundation (NRF), South Africa; Research and Innovation Support and Advancement (RISA), South Africa, etc and a member of several professional bodies, including the Anatomical Society of Nigeria. My areas of research include reproductive anatomy, endocrinology and systemic toxicology with expertise in tissue processing and microscopic techniques.
